Job Title: Project Manager – New Build Leisure Centre Projects (UK-Wide)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple new-build Leisure Centre facilities across the UK. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end project lifecycle – from pre-construction planning through to handover – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role involves regular travel and may require working away from home for extended periods, with Living Away From Home (LAFH) allowances and expenses provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the delivery of multiple leisure centre construction projects across the UK.

Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
*
Oversee budgets, schedules, risk management, and health & safety compliance on-site.
*
Manage stakeholder engagement, reporting, and project communication across all levels.
*
Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design and quality specifications.
*
Resolve issues and drive practical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:

Proven experience managing multi-million-pound new build construction projects – leisure or public sector facilities preferred.
*
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, CDM 2015, and construction methodologies.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
*
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
*
Relevant construction/engineering degree or equivalent.
*
Chartered status (MCIOB, MAPM, RICS) or working towards.
*
Experience with NEC or JCT contracts.
