About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in Bognor Regis, overseeing our bustling 200-seater Papa John's restaurant.
In this dynamic role, you will report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a pivotal part in running the kitchen while leading a dedicated team of up to 10 members per shift. Your mission? To ensure our guests leave with a smile, making them the heart of every operational decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am - 3am, depending on the restaurant's opening hours.

* Confidence in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will also be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
