An outstanding-rated specialist school in Northwich is currently seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with significant and complex needs. The school provides a high level of care and education to learners aged 2 to 19 with conditions such as autism, PMLD, SLD, and associated medical or sensory needs.
This role involves supporting students across a range of abilities, both in small groups and one-to-one. You will be involved in helping to implement individual learning plans, provide personal care where needed, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll also be expected to support with behaviour management strategies and therapeutic approaches.
The school’s ethos focuses on building communication, confidence, and independence in every student. Staff are committed, adaptable, and always put the learners’ needs at the centre of their work.
This is an ideal opportunity for those with experience in a SEN or care setting, or those with a background in education, psychology, or youth work. Immediate start available. Pay is £90–£100 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
