This position is responsible for supporting the quality team and wider business in maintaining and improving the learning, development and quality environment at RSSL through: This position is responsible for supporting the quality team in maintaining and improving the RSSL quality system in Reading UK through: Maintaining RSSL UK compliance to cGMP standards for the pharma industry and RSSLaccredited status to ISO 17025 for the food industry SupportRSSL at client audits,demonstratingand promoting the quality systems Support RSSL laboratory staff with advice,guidanceand knowledge of theappropriate qualitysystem requirements Support andmaintainthe Chocolate Creation Centre quality system andsupportingstaff with guidance and knowledge of the Mondelez Quality Policy requirements. Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities: Technical Tomaintainand improve the RSSL quality system processes by review and approval of QMS processese.gOOS investigations, change control, deviations, method validation,issueand withdrawal of the controlled documentation. Maximising the efficiency through use of Q-Pulse. Understand and implement the requirements of the Mondelez Quality Policies to continuously improve the CCC QMS. Assistat audits by clients and at regulatory inspections, MHRA and UKAS. Acting in a professional manner and exemplifying RSSL corporate image. Develop into a people manager and/or mentor for junior QAU team members and others across the business. Perform internal audits of the laboratories, Chocolate CreationCentreand systems to ensure ongoing compliance with the regulatory requirements and internal procedures Participate in annual quality reviews in the laboratories, prepare theminutes ,create the actions in Q-Pulse, followupand review their completion Lead on the production of KPI's for the Chocolate Creation Centre and reporting to senior management asrequired. Lead projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality management system Conduct in-house Quality training to the business, coordinating training sessions,producingorassistingand collating training materials and delivering some of the training. Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; raise questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue; apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct. Ensure training records areaccurate. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements: Educated to Degree / HNC level in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory. Good understanding ofbasic lab equipment Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team Flexible and adaptable to meet customer/business requirements. Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions. Goodwritten and verbal communication skills. Self motivated,enthusiasticand quick to learn. Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently. Computer literatein standard MS office applications Experience of working in a regulated environment.
