A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced fire door engineer/carpenter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working on prison projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based across Oxford, Slough and Reading areas. What's on offer? * Full time, permanent role with company benefits package * Vehicle, fuel card, PPE and uniform * Starting salary up to £45,000 p/a – depending on experience and discussed at interview * Opportunity for personal career development Responsibilities include: * Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors * Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification * Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately * Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work * Liaise with customers and members of the general public The successful candidate will have: * At least three years’ experience working with fire doors * NVQ or equivalent in carpentry and joinery * Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assemblies * Full UK driving license * 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS or BMTRADA scheme (desired) These vacancies are for a quick start after a short interview process.
