Job Title: IT Engineering Manager
Location: Bridgend, South Wales
Job type: Full time / Permanent (5 days a week 9am to 5.30pm, Flexible hours between 8am - 6pm)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, cloud-focused specialist with a passion for customer service and experience in the ICT sector, preferably in an IT Delivery or IT Manager role. You will lead a team of IT delivery engineers.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that values morale and culture.
2. Develop and implement training programs for team members to support their professional growth, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
3. Promote a customer-centric approach to service delivery, prioritizing customer satisfaction and empowering the team to exceed expectations.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and goals, providing strategic guidance and technology recommendations.
5. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending service enhancements and innovations.
6. Coordinate with IT Project Managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
7. Work with IT delivery engineers on projects such as email migrations, firewall installations, and email threat protection implementations.
8. Create documentation and knowledge base articles to assist users with common issues.
9. Provide excellent customer service through effective communication with end-users.
10. Maintain ongoing professional development through training and industry engagement.
Job Experience Required:
* ICT background within an MSP, with leadership experience.
* Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.
* Technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, security, and cloud technologies.
* Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, backup solutions, and security firewalls.
* A team player who enjoys collaborative work.
* Proficient with CRM systems and documentation tools.
* Valid full UK driving license.
