Our client is a successful global homeware brand with head offices in Manchester and looking to recruit a Head of E-commerce to lead their team and handle webstores and their market place business/ Amazon/ Ebay etc. This role is 75% Ecommerce, P&L ownership, Website Management and 25% etailers and marketplaces
Experience
Exposure to Market Place business across international geographies.
Experience in Sales, Marketing and Analytics technology is preferred
Digital, e-commerce, strategy and/or CRM related development expertise is a plus
Purpose of the role
This role will be responsible for expanding the brands & associated brands on website online marketplaces, with the objective of swiftly achieving a uniform marketplace position for the portfolio. The position is responsible for driving top line revenue growth while laying the foundation for opportunities to expand margin and grow the bottom line as the marketplace landscape becomes streamlined and optimized
Duties
· Work with the senior management on setting the strategic direction and vision for the online store & marketplace business
· Create blueprint and go to market strategy to launch branded and Pvt label portfolio on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay etc
· Own and grow P&L for all online store & marketplace accounts across UK & EU
· Identify opportunities for growth within existing e-Commerce accounts, and develop new customers
· Identify opportunities to expand the breadth of product portfolio positioned to the marketplace channel; conduct competitive set analysis to define positioning and create a roadmap for gaining market share
· Manage key relationships with external stakeholders such a s marketplace category leads
· Work with internal teams / vendors to keep track of purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, inventory planning, shipping metrics
· Track bottom-line drivers across portals
· Oversee advertising campaigns, track reviews and ratings, evaluate what deals and offers to run, track the best-seller rankings and deploy automation tools to increase conversion rate & traffic
KPI'S
· Revenue for branded and Pvt Label biz
· EBITDA for entire online store & Market Place portfolio
· Special digital projects (syndicate content / cataloguing, identify automation opportunities for merchandising, pricing, reviews)
