Responsibilities
As a Trainee QS, the successful candidate will:
Assist with cost planning, measurement, valuations, and procurement
Support commercial management across residential projects
Gain visibility and experience across all project stages—from estimation through to final account handover
Learn directly from experienced surveyors while taking on real responsibility
Projects
The Trainee QS will gain exposure to a range of residential developments, including affordable housing and larger new-build schemes. This provides excellent hands-on learning and the chance to broaden experience across different build types and client requirements.

Candidate Requirements
Around 1 year of experience with either a developer or main contractor
Open to both degree-qualified candidates and trainees currently undertaking study
Strong communication and organisational skills
Keen to learn, hands-on, and motivated to progress within a commercial role
