Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced and confident Inclusion Support Worker to support pupils with a range of additional needs in an SEN secondary school based in Wakefield. If you have previous experience supporting SEND pupils and have a passion for education, then we would love to hear from you!
The role:
* Identifying needs and monitoring progress of pupils
* Understand and able to use positive handling strategies to keep pupils safe
* Ensure pupils are engaged and supported throughout their learning
* Support pupils to transition into mainstream education
* High expectation of pupils
Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
* Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
* Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
* Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
* Minimum of three months UK residency
