Our customer is a fast growing professional and managed IT Services business delivering into a range of cross sector customers. A successful M technology group with a fast growing M&A strategy and solid investment they are scaling and so this is an exciting time to join the
deliver a variety of MSP/MSSP services including Hybrid Cloud/Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Modern Apps and AI, and across multiple vendors led by Microsoft.
What the role?
The Head of Procurement strategically will leads all sourcing and purchasing activities across the business and the exiting and future acquisition strategy to ensure cost-effective and efficient acquisition of goods and services to optimise supplier service, pricing, relationships and risk mitigation.
You will drive procurement strategy, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with the organisation's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities.
-Lead the group procurement strategy and delivery including a small team
-Manage the acquisition integration in terms of procurement to best effect and outcome
-Supplier relationship management, some IT vendor alliance and negotiations and cost efficiency
What's required?
Some previous IT services procurement either as a lead inside the IT business units or within a managed IT services provider. This will ideally have seen you as department head/lead across process, and mean you can drive and influence purchasing efficiency within technology and the required supply chain for all of the core business.
If you understand but have not led the acquisition integration, then applicants will still be considered.
Ideal applicants will be in a growing MSP as a snr or lead and be looking to step up and build with a growing business as they scale to £50m+ over the next few years, and beyond to higher levels if full capability is shown.
