We are recruiting a Director (Corporate Solicitor) on behalf of a leading commercial legal firm in Belfast who are looking to grow their corporate services offering. This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior corporate solicitor (associate, Senior Associate or junior partner level) to develop the corporate team and assist in the management of other corporate solicitors. As Director, you will have responsibility for shaping and developing the firm's corporate services and will play a significant role in the future direction of the company. This is a rare opportunity in the Belfast market for a role of this calibre and within a firm with a long-standing reputation for providing high-quality commercial services.
Your new role
The corporate department handles a full range of corporate/commercial work and as Director, you will lead negotiations, help to manage the team and personally assist in the business development and marketing of the corporate services offering.
What can you offer the role?
You will likely have:
1. a solicitor qualification with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience in a corporate law firm;
2. a track record in providing corporate/commercial advice to the highest standard;
3. the entrepreneurial vision and commercial aptitude to grow and develop a corporate team;
4. a strong team ethic (people management skills preferable but not essential);
