Role Overview: Reed are working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Wisbech. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join this excellent primary school from September. This full-time role involves supporting a Year 3 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Encourage the pupil to stay on task with the work set by the teacher.
* Ensure the pupil's behaviour aligns with the school's behavioural policies.
* Facilitate the pupil's self-expression in the sensory room.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a plan that ensures the pupil reaches their educational potential.
Pay: £80-£90 per day, depending on experience.
Requirements:
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
* Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
* Experience working with SEN is highly beneficial.
