Purpose of Job
To work with the Legal team to provide key support for efficient and effective contracts administration within the business with a focus on software and hardware supply, professional services and managed services.
Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing and responding to legal issues and enquiries from both internal and external customers
* Ensuring end-to-end management of all contracts that pass through the Legal department – MSA, GTC, EULA, Reseller Agreements, Tenders, Frameworks
* Reviewing key professional services partner agreements
* Responding to general legal enquiries
Individual Responsibilities
* Working closely with Vendor Ops, Sales, Tenders, Finance and Services teams to provide support to partners, customers and suppliers in drafting relevant contracts
* Drafting/redrafting and negotiating agreements
* Representing Bytes in front of both customers and suppliers throughout commercial discussions and negotiations
* Supporting the Legal team with contractual matters
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Degree in Business or Law – ESSENTIAL
* 1–2 years’ worth of experience in a contracts administration or legal administration role – ESSENTIAL
* A good understanding of both the UK legal system and commercial law – DESIRABLE
* A general understanding of IT reseller relationships – DESIRABLE
* Experience with public sector frameworks – DESIRABLE
