Toolroom Mechanic Injection Moulding Pay : £44,000 P/A Location: Knowsley,L33 Shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 Days : Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join a new and growing team within the injection moulding department of a site based in Knowsley. This is a permanent role and will report to the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities Performing maintenance, servicing and repairing of injection mould tools. Diagnose faults and complete tooling rebuilds. Assist in tool changes and inspections. Using workshop tools and measuring equipment. Maintain organised toolroom environment. Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Perform repairs involving electrical systems and mechanical components. Collaborate with production teams to minimise operational disruptions during maintenance activities. Experience Proven experience as a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician Experience within a Manufacturing / Production environment Experience in injection moulding toolroom and mechanical repair. Mechanical aptitude and tooling knowledge Strong electrical experience, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
