Interim Accounts Payable Specialist – Process Improvement
Accounts Payable Lead – Tewkesbury (5 Days On-Site)Location: TewkesburyWorking pattern: Fully on-site, Monday–FridayHere at Hays, we’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in Tewkesbury. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes, and working closely with operational teams.What You’ll Be Doing
* Taking a hands-on approach to clearing a backlog of invoices.
* Mapping and improving Accounts Payable workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy.
* Working closely with the Supply Chain and Goods in teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end processes.
* Providing guidance, support, and oversight to our existing AP Administrator.
* Acting as a key point of contact for AP–related queries across the business.
What We’re Looking For
* Someone who is comfortable getting stuck in with operational tasks.
* Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and workflow optimisation.
* Excellent communication skills, especially when working with supply chain and operational teams.
* A supportive working style — able to guide and mentor junior team members.
* Happy to work 5 days per week on-site in our Tewkesbury office.
