The Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with enterprise customers and prospects, supporting complex sales engagements across hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
You’ll play a critical role in driving technical and operational success throughout the sales cycle — from early discovery and trials through to production rollout.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage enterprise customer trials end-to-end, from scoping through execution and successful production rollout
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders
* Develop technical champions within customer organisations to drive deal momentum and technical wins
* Provide technical expertise during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution design
* Act as the bridge between Sales and the wider business (Product, Technology, and Operations), translating customer needs into clear technical solutions
* Own and coordinate tender and RfX responses, maintaining a high-quality, up-to-date solution and documentation repository
* Design effective technical solutions in collaboration with Product and Technology teams
* Feed customer insight back into the product roadmap, influencing future features and investment priorities
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
* Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
* Collaborate closely with Enterprise Sales and channel partners to identify and win new business
* Work alongside fellow Sales Engineers to continuously learn, improve, and share best practice
What We’re Looking For
* 3-25+ years’ experience in a Sales Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role
* Background in a technology-led organisation (ideally hardware, security, or mixed hardware/software SaaS)
* Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Comfortable engaging directly with enterprise customers
* Willingness to travel as required (primarily UK & Ireland)
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable but not essential
