About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to provide general administrative support on all areas relating to the welfare, careers and support of students at HSDC?
Here at HSDC we are looking for a Student Progress Administrator to liaise with students and staff in respect of student issues, developing and maintaining an excellent knowledge of the student-facing services provided by the Student Services team. To provide a welcoming, responsive, professional, and efficient customer focused service.
If you have the ability to decipher information quickly and provide the appropriate response or refer in an appropriate manner to specialist colleagues, with general awareness of the needs of students within the 16-19 age range and ability to form good working relationships with them, then we’d love to hear from you.
18 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
Salary Grade 3 Point 11 (Fixed) £23,602.31 (actual salary: £9,980.69)

You will be responsible for
* Liaising with students and staff in respect of student concerns, developing and maintaining an excellent knowledge of the student-facing services provided by the Student Services team.
* To provide a welcoming, responsive, professional and efficient customer focused service.
* To manage the tasks relating to the attendance process including the signing out of students and ensuring safe travel assistance from campus
* To liaise regularly with members of the Student Services team to ensure that knowledge of services is up to date and to keep abreast of issues such as particular student campaigns, careers, important dates and other information relevant to students
* To book appointments for students to see specialist staff (for instance Careers Advisers, Progress Mentors), ensuring that protocols for each type of appointment are followed.
You will need
* Qualified to at least level 2 in English and maths
* Qualifications or previous training in customer service
* Previous experience in a help desk/advisory role
* Excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Evidence of a commitment to personal development and training.
* Customer Service Qualification at L3 or working towards
