Overview
At Cambian you’ll work as a Children’s Support Worker, helping young people aged 11‑18 feel safe, valued and supported. Your role will involve daily assistance, emotional support and creating a warm, homely environment.
Responsibilities
* Support young people with daily routines such as getting ready for school, prepping for meal times, and planning activities.
* Maintain a clean and welcoming environment with light housekeeping.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join fun activities, including trips to the park, movie nights, and creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
* Use electronic care recording systems daily, documenting, monitoring, and updating children’s records accurately.
Qualifications
No prior experience is required; training will be provided. Applicants should be comfortable using digital systems and will receive full training on ClearCare (or similar).
All candidates must pass an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the past two years, plus any roles involving vulnerable groups.
