You'll benefit from a comprehensive handover with the retiring Registered Manager, giving you a deep insight into the team, culture, and young people's needs. With a strong senior team already in place and support from an experienced Regional Manager and Residential Director, this is a rare opportunity to step into a role with everything set up for success. Up to £55,000 basic salary £5,000 Welcome Bonus Annual performance bonus (up to £11,550) 32 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays) Fully funded DBS checks and renewals Access to employee wellbeing and reward schemes Ongoing training & leadership development Supportive senior leadership and clinical networks Clear progression path within a large and growing organisation About the Home: 5-bed home for young females with complex emotional needs Located in a peaceful setting in Pulborough, West Sussex Currently rated Outstanding across all areas by Ofsted Specialises in CSE support and trauma-informed care Long-standing, stable staff team including two experienced Deputies A strong ethos of nurture, consistency, and family-style care Backed by an experienced wider leadership team and central support functions About the Role: Lead and manage the daily operations of the home Maintain regulatory compliance and lead on Ofsted inspections Support and develop your team through supervision, mentoring, and training Deliver trauma-informed, child-centred care and embed a positive culture Oversee budgets, referrals, placement plans and care delivery Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and professionals Ensure safeguarding standards are upheld at all times Promote progress, development, and stability for each young person Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) At least 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential care Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted regulations Experience supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others Excellent communication, organisation, and multi-agency working skills Full UK driving licence Able to be part of the on-call rota and lead by example Interested?
