Overview

REGnosys is the leading collaboration platform for regulatory reporting. Our award-winning low-code platform, Rosetta, is trusted by over 1,000 users across global financial institutions, standard-setting bodies and regulators to deliver the industry’s Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) programme: an open-source, standardised and machine-executable expression of the rules. We are a fast-growing team of regulatory and engineering experts, founded by a former Goldman Sachs Engineering MD, and headquartered in London with a growing international client base.

Mission

We are building the future of data and reporting for financial markets, and we are taking all industry stakeholders with us.

We have secured some high-profile client including top-tier investment banks, law firms and standard-setting bodies.

Responsibilities

* You will own the product direction and delivery for the Rosetta platform, working at the intersection of our engineering and client services teams, and collaborating with the broader financial industry to ensure we are building the right things in the right order.
* Own and prioritise the Rosetta product backlog, translating client needs, industry developments and strategic goals into clearly defined, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
* Define and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment across engineering, commercial and leadership stakeholders.
* Work closely with engineering teams through sprint planning, refinement and review ceremonies, ensuring each sprint delivers valuable increments to users.
* Engage directly with clients, trade associations and industry working groups (e.g. ISDA, FINOS) to gather requirements, validate product decisions and represent the Rosetta platform’s capabilities.
* Champion the user experience across Rosetta’s suite of tools driving continuous improvement based on user feedback and usage data.
* Own release planning and management, including creating release notes and documentation, representing changes to stakeholders and coordinating production deployments.
* Monitor and analyse product metrics and client adoption patterns to inform priorities and measure the impact of delivered features.
* Collaborate with the data modelling team to ensure alignment between platform capabilities and the domain models built for regulatory reporting obligations across Securities, Derivatives, Commodities and FX.
* Identify client adoption challenges and feeding common pain points back into the product.
* Provide regular updates to colleagues and stakeholders on product status, risks and upcoming changes.

Qualifications

* Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a closely related role within a technology or software product company.
* A genuine interest (evidenced through professional experience, academic achievement or personal activities) in capital markets, financial products and regulatory processes, and an eagerness to learn the domain.
* An analytical mind with strong attention to detail and the ability to break complex requirements into well-structured deliverables.
* Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to write clearly and concisely and to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Proactivity and a genuine desire for taking ownership of outcomes, not just outputs.
* Ability to manage expectations, resolve conflicts and make sound prioritisation decisions under competing demands.
* Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Notion or similar.
* Enough technical fluency to collaborate effectively with software engineers – comfortable discussing APIs, data models, release pipelines and integration patterns.
* Exposure to the software engineering lifecycle, including release, deployment and testing processes (e.g. Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
* Graduate degree in a business or STEM subject.
* You must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Desirable experience

* Exposure to financial products and their transaction lifecycle, particularly in regulatory reporting, trade reporting or post-trade processing.
* Experience with domain-specific languages (DSLs), low-code platforms or model-driven development approaches.
* Familiarity with data modelling, data engineering or business analysis roles with a strong data focus in a financial markets context.
* Experience working with open-source communities or industry standard-setting bodies (e.g. ISDA, FINOS, FIX).
* Experience with product analytics tools and a data-driven approach to product decisions.
* International experience and / or foreign languages.

Technology

Our technology combines cutting-edge cloud-computing and the power of open source software. It enables firms to collaborate to build and share data pipelines across the industry.

Approach to Serving Clients

We like Agile development but use only the parts that make sense for us. We are not dogmatic about specific parts of Agile but believe it brings the clients and developers closer together to create better solutions.
