Job Description
THE POSITION: As Engagement Manager, Global Operational Pricing Excellence, you will work with clients to understand their needs, develop project plans, and coordinate activities. You will lead projects focusing on operational aspects of pricing—processes, organization, systems, and tools. Building on internal knowledge and expertise, you will ensure project delivery on schedule with high quality and value. You will oversee and guide a team of consultants, analyze operational pricing efficiencies, identify gaps, and propose improvements. Initially, you will support final deliverables and provide feedback to team members. This role offers growth opportunities, including contributing to business development through proposal development.
The role is home-based (full-time), ideally located in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the job holder must be legally eligible to work in the EU or UK.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage teams (internal and external) in designing, developing, and delivering client analyses and reports.
* Follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction.
* Use business experience to identify strategic options and approaches, adding value.
* Conduct client interviews to assess pricing maturity and inform improvement strategies.
* Expand knowledge of operational pricing and pharmaceutical markets.
* Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and develop proposals and marketing materials.
* Achieve business development goals by leveraging client relationships.
* Maintain high quality and attention to detail; excellent English, PowerPoint, and Excel skills; storytelling through data.
* Proven experience in publishing and presenting thought leadership.
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
* Location: Home-based in Europe (Poland, UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy)
* Travel: 10%, international
* Hours: minimum 40 hours/week
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* >7 years in operational consulting (e.g., PwC, KPMG, Deloitte)
* Experience in pharmaceutical/health industry is a plus
* Leadership in teams and projects, ownership of analyses and deliverables
* Self-aware, accountable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent project management
* Strong communication and change management understanding
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Ability to analyze large data sets and make recommendations
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, handle multiple projects
* Willingness to travel 10-20%
