This is a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Tax Manager to join a forward-thinking professional services firm in Bolton. You’ll lead a portfolio of clients, manage advisory projects, and help shape the delivery of employment tax services across the firm.
The Role
As Employment Tax Manager, you’ll work closely with clients to deliver technical and strategic tax advice while overseeing compliance and project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a varied portfolio of employment tax clients
* Providing expert advice on PAYE, IR35, off-payroll working, and benefits
* Leading advisory assignments on remuneration, incentives, and workforce planning
* Overseeing compliance, submissions, and HMRC communications
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Training and mentoring team members to promote technical growth
* Identifying opportunities for business development and service expansion
About You
You’ll be a proactive and commercially minded professional who thrives on building relationships and solving complex tax challenges.
You will:
* Be CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Have significant experience in employment tax, compliance, and advisory services
* Be confident in managing multiple client relationships and deadlines
* Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
* Be proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
