Senior Amazon Connect Engineer – 100% Remote (UK Based)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Amazon Connect Engineer to join their team and take ownership of their telephony platform.
You will be responsible for configuring and optimising Amazon Connect to deliver a seamless contact centre experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in setting up and managing call queues, hunt groups, ring groups, and other advanced contact centre capabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Amazon Connect telephony platform
Design and implement call flows, queues, hunt groups, and ring groups
Optimise contact centre performance and user experience
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
Strong understanding of contact centre operations and telephony configuration
Proven ability to design and implement complex call routing solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
