A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinist / Mechanical Fitter for a company in the Gloucester Area that build a variety of special purpose machinery.
With no day ever being the same the Machinist / Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Working to Design Drawings
2. Machining Insulation (Soft fiber)
3. Milling, Turning and Drilling etc.
4. Making Filament Windings on a Lathe
5. Welding of Element Terminals
6. Assembly of Components
7. Basic Wiring
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
8. Time Served as a Mechanical Fitter / Machinist
9. Experience working to high Health and Safety Standards
10. Experience with Working to high levels of Quality
11. To keep your work areas clean and tidy.
12. Other duties within the company as required
