Job Summary
The Game Fair Cleaning Operatives are responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment at our outdoor event. This role involves ensuring all areas are kept tidy, waste is properly disposed of, and facilities are presentable for attendees and staff alike. The position offers an engaging outdoor working experience during the event period, contributing to the overall success and enjoyment of the fair.
Duties
* Regularly clean and sanitise event facilities, including toilets, seating areas, and walkways
* Collect and dispose of waste in designated bins and disposal points
* Restock cleaning supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition
* Assist with setting up and dismantling temporary cleaning stations or facilities as required
* Respond promptly to any spillages or cleanliness concerns raised by visitors or staff
* Support the overall organisation of the event by maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the site
Requirements
* Previous experience in cleaning or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with team members and event organisers
* Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional attitude
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during event hours
* Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts during the event period
