We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Malton seeking a KS1 Classroom Support Assistant. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young learners build key literacy and numeracy skills in a warm and structured learning environment.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing targeted support during whole-class, group and 1:1 sessions
• Supporting phonics, reading, early maths and handwriting
• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged and confident
• Preparing resources and supporting classroom routines
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Assisting with assessments and progress notes
• Helping to create a calm, inclusive classroom atmosphere
