Our client based in Thatcham is looking to hire a Project Manager/Administrator to join their rapidly expanding team! For the right candidate, this is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to start immediately.
You will be responsible for being a point of contact for clients, liaising with the Production and Installations managers to arrange work plans and costings for infrastructure.
Shift:
1. Monday to Friday
Pay:
2. From £28,000 per annum (DOE)
Responsibilities:
3. Prepare quotations and maintain record of all quoted works
4. Create specifications and costing for infrastructure and groundworks requirements
5. Arranging works plans in conjunction with the Installations Manager and Production Manager for ground works subcontractors including work plans, job sheet, specifications, permits. Including planning and coordinating production and installation requirements.
6. Post work performance analysis and cost management.
7. Working internally to schedule projects.
8. Maintain communications with clients using a range of channels.
9. Carry out site visits to determine scopes of work.
10. Work with production and installation departments to create pricing for tenders and quotations.
11. Track project billing and costing, ensuring works are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner.
12. Prepare routine monthly reports and ad-hoc reports as required.
Requirements:
At least 2 years proven experience working in a similar role.
13. A background in civil engineering, facilities maintenance, traffic management or manufacturing.
14. Creation of method statements and risk assessments and compiling pricing and creating complex quotations.
15. Customer Service/Project Management
Qualifications and Knowledge:
16. Full UK driving licence.
17. Excellent telephone manner.
18. Educated to A Level or equivalent and demonstrating excellent numeracy skills.
19. Project management knowledge desirable.
20. Method statements and risk assessment implementation.
21. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project and Outlook.
