Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the Accounting & Finance team.
5. Maintain financial records and reconcile key accounts regularly.
6. Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
7. Work collaboratively with other departments to track financial performance.
8. Assist in improving financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.
9. Provide support during audits, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
10. Contribute to ad hoc projects and financial analyses as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
11. Working towards one, such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
12. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or management accounting within a similar role.
13. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
16. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams across departments.
