Blue Legal are partnering with an international law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their London office. The successful candidate will lead and support on the planning and implementation of all BD & marketing activities, in line with the firmwide strategy and in close coordination with the global Practice Group Business Development team.
The Responsibilities:
* Support Partners in targeting new clients and strengthening existing relationships through strategic BD activities.
* Stay informed on industry developments, legislation, and regulations to provide insightful BD input.
* Create engaging pitch materials and presentations to enhance client engagement and support growth.
* Leverage networking opportunities to build market knowledge and promote the firm brand and services.
* Plan and coordinate events, marketing campaigns, and legal directory submissions to boost visibility and rankings.
* Manage BD systems, contribute to business planning, and monitor budgets within the department.
The Candidate:
* Extensive BD and marketing experience in a law firm, including pitches, sector marketing, client targeting, campaign execution, and event management; experience with legal directory submissions is essential.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information and contribute to strategic initiatives.
* Proactive and process-focused mindset, able to prioritise effectively and identify opportunities for workflow improvement and automation.
