Job Description:
Global RME Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Central Finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys optimizing operational excellence through a strategic lens to mitigate future risk. RME Senior Financial Analysts share ownership over all cost-related aspects when providing network FP&A support (MEC, Controllership, and Operational Planning Cycles) and strategic cost-out validation and tracking for the Global RME Central team.
The ability to learn and be curious while working through ambiguity, thinking big, and simplifying processes for improvement is critical. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and capable of managing the finances of a large organization effectively.
Key job responsibilities:
* Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.
* Collaborate with business partners to identify cost reduction opportunities.
* Provide insightful analysis to support business decisions, considering system impacts, financial controls, and ongoing support requirements.
* Identify opportunities for automation to replace manual processes.
* Lead financial review meetings with cross-functional teams and work with managers on finance and cost management.
* Manage annual financial planning, analysis, and quarterly budgeting accurately and timely.
* Develop ad hoc analyses and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
* Facilitate business reviews with data analysis and follow-up on actionable items.
* Use internal systems (QuickSight, PowerBI, SQL, PAX, Cognos, CAMP) to analyze financial and productivity data and drive actions.
A day in the life:
The successful candidate will influence business owners, lead meetings with senior leaders, support decision-making through data, and adapt to a dynamic environment. They will play a key role in decision-making and developing financial insights during monthly and quarterly reviews. Responsibilities include driving network initiatives, enforcing standard work, reviewing purchase requests, leading cost reviews, and conducting ad-hoc analyses.
About the team:
The team supports the Global RME Central Team and field RME teams across NACF, ATS, and GDS in NA, EU, and ROW regions.
Basic Qualifications:
* A degree
* Experience leading finance projects or programs and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
* Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, and data mining tools like Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau
* Experience in financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics
* Problem-solving skills and ability to streamline complex challenges
* Experience working in large, fast-paced corporate environments
* Experience making strategic decisions and managing internal relationships
