Hello My Name is CharlotteJones, I am Team Manager for Wakefield CAMHS ReACH Team. We are looking for aBand 4 Nursing Associate, to join our ReACH (Crisis) Team. CAMHS ReACH Team is adeveloping service within Wakefield which aims to support young people, theirfamilies and carers during periods of crisis. We provide support across a rangeof settings including, hospitals, homes, schools and clinics. The team provides365 day a year cover between 8am and 8pm, the role will consist of a workingpattern of long day shifts 8am-8pm on a rostered basis.
We encourage applicants who have experience of working withchildren/young people with emotional and mental health needs, and experience ofpracticing in a flexible and adaptable manner.

Main duties of the job
Youwill work alongside senior mental health practitioners to manage a caseload ofyoung people presenting with varying mental health challenges.
Youwill work independently to deliver therapeutic interventions to children andyoung people to aid recovery and promote self-management of their mentalhealth.
Youwill need to develop strong working relationships with professionals across thedistrict; therefore excellent communication/engagement skills are essential.
Acommitment to improving service delivery and developing new ways of supportingyoung people and families experiences is crucial to work within the wider CAMHSteam.
Thisis a fast paced role and requires a can do attitude towards tasks.
Theteam offer outreach to those that are difficult to engage, providing intensivesupport to meet identified need contributing to a reduction in admissions toinpatient provision.

Job responsibilities
The NA will:
Theresponsibility of the post holder is to participate in the planning and deliveryof individual care provided by the multidisciplinary team. The NA will workindependently under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, providing holisticevidenced based high quality care to patients and will be professionallyaccountable for their actions. They will supervise and delegate appropriatelyto support staff within the team and they will support and supervise studentsand learners who are on placement.
Be responsible for delivering highquality, patient centred, compassionate care under the direction of aRegistered Nurse with a focus on promoting health and independence.
Be an accountable professional.
Work as part of a designatedclinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of theindividual.
Carry out specific clinical and caretasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under thedirection of a registered nurse.
Have the ability to work withoutdirect supervision, at times delivering care independently in line with theindividuals defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the NArole, accessing clinical and care advice when needed.

Qualifications
* Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
* GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.
Training
* Must be willing/able to undertake all appropriate Trust mandatory training requirements, and subsequent refresher training relevant to the area.
* Must be willing / able to undergo job development and training and maintain skills.
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of service user safety.
Special Knowledge & Skills
* Understand and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
* Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation.
* Work independently under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, providing holistic evidenced based high quality care to patients with professional accountability for own actions.
* Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans Supervise and delegate appropriately to support staff within the team and support and supervise students and learners who are on placement.
