Company Overview:
Our client, a regional contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to oversee schemes in Industrial, Commercial, Educational, and Retail sectors throughout Yorkshire. With secured works valued at approximately £90 million for 2025, they require an experienced Project Manager to lead projects ranging from £500K to £25 million.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers to confirm building plans.
2. Manage site and utility preparation (pre-construction activities).
3. Develop work schedules to ensure project completion before deadlines.
4. Procure or hire building equipment and materials.
5. Oversee construction projects to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards.
6. Monitor and manage the construction budget to minimize overspending.
7. Provide regular progress reports to clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
8. Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
9. Coordinate with site management regarding build programmes and updates.
