Day rate: £210 per day - Outside IR35 or Umbrella

Overview
We re looking for reliable and customer-focused IT Support Engineers to provide on-site technical support on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for engineers seeking flexible work alongside existing commitments.
As the face of our service, you'll provide hands-on support at a single site in Aberdeen, assisting with incident triage, troubleshooting, installations, and general IT support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st & 2nd line on-site technical support and customer assistance
- Basic troubleshooting and support of network ports, Wi-Fi access points, printers, AV equipment, room booking systems, and digital signage
- Perform basic network patching and equipment checks
- Escalate incidents to remote support teams and assist with diagnostics and resolution activities
- Carry out routine monitoring and health checks of on-site equipment
- Liaise with and log tickets with third-party vendors when required
- Support the installation and maintenance of customer IT and network equipment
What We re Looking For- Active SC Clearance
- Prior experience as either: IT Support Engineer, field engineer, desktop support, smart hands, intelligent hands, network support, AV support, 1st line & 2nd line support
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to work independently and professionally on a customer site
- Basic networking and desktop knowledge
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
