Our Older People’s Service enables older people to continue to live in their own home with support but also offers an alternative home in one of our 8 care homes when people’s care journey means that they cannot continue to do so.
Adult Services Resources, Accommodation with Care and Support which provides care and support to adults 16+, who have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health condition living in the community.
Alternatively, our Care at Home Service supports people across Fife to live safely and independently in their own homes. A key element of this is MECS – the Mobile Emergency Care Service. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, MECS responds to urgent calls in the community, including falls, personal care, welfare checks, or when someone becomes unwell at home. MECS staff are trained to assess situations quickly, using specialised equipment, provide reassurance, deliver hands-on support, and escalate concerns to health or social care professionals when needed.
