The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for controlling site access, coordinating vehicle movements, maintaining accurate material records, and supporting the safe and efficient operation of the quarry. This position serves as the site's central communication hub and plays a critical role in ensuring that operational discipline, safety, compliance, and customer service standards are consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all drivers, visitors, and contractors Control entry to the quarry in line with site safety procedures Ensure all visitors complete induction before accessing operational areas Maintain the visitor and induction registers Support in the issue and review of any permits to work Accurately record all inbound and outbound loads Issue weighbridge tickets and maintain material traceability Monitor vehicle flow to prevent congestion and unsafe interaction Act as the central communication point for the site Support the Person in Charge in maintaining a controlled site Report unsafe behaviour immediately Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and movements Create and review stock and movement reports as required Support the financial team with accurate and clear information for invoicing and cost purposes Maintain a calm and professional manner Represent FVC Aggregates and Enva positively Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Literacy and Numeracy skills and experience in use Understanding and comfort in the use of Microsoft essential programmes such as word and excel and other computing systems Excellent Communication Good Timekeeping Excellent organisational skills Team and Lone Working Preferably worked in similar industry or role Why Work For Enva?
