Support Worker (Young Adults)

Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £12.87 – £14.03 per hour (dependent on skills, experience & qualifications)
Bonus: £1,500 welcome bonus*
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 24 hours)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults with severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as complex health needs.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will help individuals develop independence, build life skills, and enjoy meaningful daily experiences within a supportive and engaging environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, your duties will vary, but will include:

* Providing personal care, including support with hygiene, dressing, and appearance
* Assisting with medical needs and daily health routines
* Supporting therapeutic activities such as rebound therapy and hydrotherapy
* Encouraging independence and helping individuals make choices about their day
* Taking part in activities such as:
o Arts and music sessions
o Outdoor learning and forestry activities
o Shopping trips and community outings
o Skills-based and enterprise projects
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care

You will play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment tailored to each individual.

This residential service offers a supportive living and learning environment designed to help young adults transition into adulthood. Facilities include:

No prior experience is required - full training will be provided.
