As we continue to modernise and transform our IT services, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Engineer with a background of coaching and mentoring colleagues, alongside managing and deploying solutions as Infrastructure as code (IAC) in Azure.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a supportive and skilled team responsible for delivering change to our public cloud (Microsoft Azure). The role requires skills and experience across the Microsoft Azure stack to enable the successful automation, monitoring and management of our Azure environment.
Utilising your skills and experience and bringing knowledge from internal and external sources you will support the Cloud Engineers to implement new ways of working aligned with best practice to develop and run our IT services in the cloud.
You will coach and train Cloud Engineers who are implementing new technologies and processes: ensuring services are configured economically, efficiently and flexibly, with the right level of governance and control to ensure our services and data are safe and secure.
