Job Title: Corporate Tax ManagerJob Summary
Join a dynamic Corporate Tax team and manage a diverse portfolio, delivering both corporate tax compliance and advisory services. This is a client-facing role with exposure to UK and international clients, providing varied and challenging technical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Oversee efficient delivery of the tax compliance process, including tax accounting
* Conduct detailed technical research and respond to ad-hoc technical queries from clients and internal teams
* Identify and contribute to advisory opportunities within allocated client portfolios
* Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members
* Advise on complex technical areas, including capital allowances, R&D tax relief, transfer pricing, Substantial Shareholdings Exemption, Controlled Foreign Companies, Corporate Interest Restriction, Withholding Tax, and Double Taxation Relief, with support from specialist colleagues as needed
* Support stand-alone tax advisory projects, including structuring acquisitions or disposals, transaction support, and due diligence
Qualifications
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent, with several years of post-qualification experience in corporation tax
* Strong UK tax technical skills
* Proven ability to analyze technical queries and provide robust solutions and advice
* Project management skills—able to plan, prioritize, and deliver work to deadlines and budgets
* Experience delivering high-quality work and taking ownership of outputs
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong client focus and commitment to building client relationships
* Ability to work collaboratively within various teams and departments
* Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
