Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wolverhampton for a CNC Programmer Setter. The responsibilities include programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components as per technical drawings and specifications. The role also involves ensuring efficient machining processes, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines. Maintaining the functionality of machines and suggesting process improvements are integral aspects of this position.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for precision machining
* Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes on Haas machinery (ideally)
* Strong understanding of Technical Drawing and ability to interpret engineering designs
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment is advantageous
* Experience in CAD/CAM with the usage of Fusion (360) programming package would be advantegeous
