Job Details
Hours: 12-hour day shifts and night shifts available.
Pay: £15.80 per hour weekdays, £16.80 per hour for night shifts & Saturday day shifts, and £17.80 per hour for Sunday day shifts.
Additional hours available for 2:1 support, including community outings.

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, adaptable, and reliable support worker to assist a young man with complex needs. The role involves providing flexible support to promote independence, well-being, and personal goal achievement in both home and community settings.
Requirements
Essential: Full UK driving license for day shifts.
About the Client: A 20-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Epilepsy, Dysphagia, and wheelchair dependence. He values independence and needs guided support for safety and goal focus. Currently at a specialist education college, returning home in June/July, and planning to attend a local college in September. He enjoys cats, trains, buses, cinema, music, church, Olympics, and balloons.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalized care and support.
* Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and meals.
* Administer medication and monitor health.
* Support community outings on a 2:1 ratio.
* Offer emotional support and companionship.
* Keep accurate care records and report changes.
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals and family.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in similar roles, preferably within a family setting.
* Knowledge of Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Dysphagia, or Epilepsy is desirable, or willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Energetic, empathetic, and positive attitude.
* Understanding of accessibility, wheelchair routes, transport, and venues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility with working hours.
* Valid UK driver’s license.
* Supportive and friendly demeanor.
