* Shape and maintain schedules, resource plans, and delivery frameworks that keep projects on track.
* Develop production- and cost-friendly solutions that still meet the highest technical standards.
* Monitor progress, risks, and variations – keeping everything aligned with budgets, milestones, and quality.
* Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients – making sure everyone pulls in the same direction.
* Prepare specs, select equipment, and support bids, tenders, and budgets.
* Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned to strengthen future projects.
* Mentor and support junior engineering staff – helping to build the next generation of talent.
* Be the problem-solver when things get tough – finding innovative solutions and ensuring issues are resolved.

* Project management skills (APM accreditation a plus; APM/Prince2 qualifications desirable).
* Experience with project tools like Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems (SAP/IFS a bonus).
