What You’ll Do
1. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for RPG-based applications.
2. Implement automated test scripts and routines tailored to IBM iSeries systems.
3. Conduct integration, regression, and performance testing for RPG LE (ILE RPG) programs.
4. Validate insurance transaction results and support the preparation of test data.
5. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to identify and resolve issues.
6. Maintain detailed documentation for test strategies, known issues, and release notes.
What You Bring
1. 4+ years of experience in QA/testing of RPG LE applications or IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems.
2. Strong understanding of RPG IV/LE program logic, CL commands, and DB2/400 file structures.
3. Hands-on experience with QA automation tools like Rational Test, ARCAD, or similar IBM i-specific frameworks.
4. Familiarity with the insurance domain, especially policy lifecycles or rating systems, is a strong plus.
5. Agile mindset with proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
