Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to students.
2. Create a positive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and personal development.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and incorporate relevant resources and materials into lessons.
6. Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians.
7. Support and mentor students in their academic and personal growth.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
3. Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level.
4. Excellent knowledge of the History curriculum.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
7. Commitment to continuous professional development.
8. Understanding of and adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
