We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
* Support cooking staff during service by providing assistance as needed.
* Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
* Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper labelling and rotation.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, ensuring all items are ready for use by chefs.
* Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is advantageous.
* Basic culinary skills including food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
