This will include owning the master data for the account across all corporate systems including TM1, Adaptive etc to ensure data is presented accurately and consistently. As a key member of the global finance team, you will actively drive the regions to ensure it meets the targets set and our sustainable growth through exceptional Client service agenda. The key responsibility of the position is to provide support to the Global Finance function, primarily working with the Global FD & Regional Leads to ensure the reporting, planning & analysis needs of the client and CBRE are satisfied on a timely basis and with the best possible presentation. The role requires a vast array of expertise balancing the demands of client and corporate responsibilities including monthly management reporting, forecasts and planning cycles, including but not limited to AR, quarterly reconciliations, headcount reporting, TM support, adhoc reporting. Working within the financial contractual requirements and meeting all deadlines will be a key deliverable of the role. The role will also provide cover (and vice versa) for the Global Finance Manager. Client · Developing high quality and effective Client relationships in the region. · Build good working relationship with account management and key client's members and be a business partner for both. · Tightly manage contract governance, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract to ensure that all cost elements are appropriately accounted for. · Assist with client team requests in a timely and accurate manner. · Positively respond to both our internal and external customers (often in a matrix environment) through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility. · Support Regional Finance Leads in monthly client presentation. · Delivery of the client budget and regular forecasts, working closely with operations teams (challenging them, as appropriate) to ensure full understanding and high degree of accuracy. · Work with the TM Team and wider Corporate advisory teams to ensure accurate reporting · Work with the PJM Team, the wider Corporate PJM Teams, and Finance Leads for accurate reporting. Financial Reporting · Manage team to prepare accurate Contract reports in line with monthly, quarterly and annual company and client timetable including chief amongst them monthly P&L results, monthly client reviews, quarterly CBRE forecasts, annual CBRE and client plans. · Support any GWS transformation and client initiatives, working closely with the DXC Finance team to ensure full alignment of deliverables and results. · Liaising with the CBRE Finance and GWS Platform local Finance teams to fulfill any ad-hoc information requests · Provide ad-hoc support and financial analysis as required · Ensure the PJM Corporate forecasting is accurate and assist with both Corporate and client reporting Contract and Finance Management · Continually review, maintain and improve cash-flow, margins and reporting. Develop targets and benchmarking processes to challenge the financial information. · Drive high quality financial / commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments on service lines globally and ensure it is aligned and consistent with global contract management practices. · Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure Client is achieving best value for money. · Review Client and Corporate P&L results and challenge. · Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies for savings. · Build and develop high level relationships with business and account leaders, central teams, global support functions, customers and external agencies (e.g. auditors). · Ensure use of best practice, communication and understanding of key business messages through monthly site visits with focus on underperforming contracts. · Constantly improve quality, service and efficiency. · Communicate regularly with contract financial and contract support staff to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives and achievements. · Identify, analyse and resolve potential business risks, as well as opportunities and solutions to enhance business performance. · Support in any client related audits. Finance Processes, Procedures and Reporting · Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the Contract. · Manage the integrity of data in Client reporting and GWS systems. · Develop an understanding of how to best utilize GWS system-generated reporting capabilities. · Continually develop systems to maximize efficiency benefits for client & GWS. · Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, identify opportunities to enhance system efficiencies · Have thorough knowledge of procedures and processes and lead the delivery of these to the required standard. · Manage compliance through the required procedures and processes. Finance Planning · Assist the Global Reporting, Planning and Analysis Manager in delivering best in class GWS and Client management information including annual budgets, monthly management accounts and forecasts including Profit and Loss variance and Balance Sheet commentaries. · To work with Global RP&A Manager to ensure all Finance teams follow consistent practice and instructions provided. Financial Governance · Ensure CBRE and statutory obligations are met for reporting and governance purposes. · Responsibility for ensuring the integrity of the account financial data and collection process. · Driving and agreeing any financial policy requirements with the Global Financial Director or Alliance Director. · Ensure Account is complying with any Global Account Standards e.g FCR process. People Management · Motivate and develop the team. · Review and advise on resourcing gaps. · Empower team members to take responsibility and accountability.
