Land Agent / Rural Surveyor - South West Oxfordshire
The Opportunity
A well-established and respected rural property consultancy is seeking a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join its Oxfordshire office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive team.
The firm has a long-standing reputation for excellence in rural land agency, estate management, and agricultural consultancy. With deep roots in the farming and rural community, the team offers a broad range of services including valuations, lettings and sales, planning and development, and infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with private and corporate clients
* Deliver expert advice on agricultural tenancies, land use, and rural property matters
* Conduct detailed valuations and prepare clear, accurate reports
* Advise on compulsory purchase, utilities, and compensation
* Support clients with rural planning and development projects
* Assist in the delivery of infrastructure schemes
* Contribute to farm agency and land transactions
Candidate Profile
* MRICS qualified
* CAAV membership (desirable but not essential)
* 2-4 years post-qualification experience in rural surveying
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Full UK driving licence

Working Arrangements
* Core hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
* Full-time (37.5 hours/week), with flexible and hybrid working options available (minimum 30 hours/week)
