Job Scope: We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's care service, ensuring a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for both residents and staff.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the service, ensuring excellent standards of care, compliance with regulations, and the effective management of staff and resources. You will lead by example, support senior team members, and work closely with external professionals to deliver person-centred outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring safety, well-being, and dignity
* Provide leadership and supervision to Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers
* Use IT systems for quality assurance, staff management, training, and incident reporting
* Build strong relationships with external agencies to enhance referrals and placements
* Support staff development through training, inductions, and performance management
* Promote continuous improvement in care delivery and service quality
Do you have?
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within health or social care, ideally in a residential setting
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or be working towards it
* Strong understanding of regulatory standards and CQC requirements
* Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
* Ability to lead, motivate, and support staff teams effectively
* Confident in managing budgets, resources, and service development
* Skilled in building positive relationships with professionals, families, and external agencies
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
