Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP RPA Developer to support and extend automation capabilities within a large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, alongside ongoing maintenance and support activities. You will work as part of an SAP Centre of Expertise, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to design, build, and operate intelligent automation solutions using SAP RPA and SAP BTP technologies. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for solution design, delivery quality, and alignment with overall SAP architecture.
Key Responsibilities
* SAP RPA Solution Development – Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using SAP Intelligent RPA and SAP BTP services.
* Automation Discovery & Design – Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritise automation opportunities.
* Support & Optimisation – Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
* Testing & Quality Assurance – Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of RPA workflows to ensure robust delivery.
* Architecture & Standards Alignment – Ensure RPA solutions align with SAP architectural standards and best practices; participate in design reviews and technical governance.
* Documentation – Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including process flows, solution designs, and operational guides.
* Technical Guidance – Provide guidance and support to other team members, reviewing designs and builds to ensure consistency and quality.
Key Skills
* Proven hands‑on experience as an SAP RPA Developer, with a minimum of 3 years in SAP RPA / SAP BTP‑based automation.
* Strong experience with SAP Intelligent RPA and SAP BTP development concepts.
* Solid programming skills in ABAP, JavaScript, and SAP UI5.
* Experience working on or alongside SAP S/4HANA programmes.
* Good understanding of process mapping and business process analysis techniques.
* Familiarity with automation frameworks and best practices.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in client‑facing environments.
