The role:
* Developing highway designs in accordance with the DMRB using AutoCAD or Civils 3D.
* Production of technical reports as required.
* Management of work packages with scope to move up to managing small schemes.
* Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projects.
* You will be supported by a team of experienced and developing technical staff of various grades, to whom you will be expected to provide guidance and support as appropriate.
* Involvement in high profile client engagement, stakeholder management, design team collaboration (both internal and with other external multidisciplinary professionals), and project management
What you need to succeed:
* UK design consultancy experience across a range of sectors
* Sound client liaison experience and being commercially aware
* Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185 and 104
* Fully conversant in the use of software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage or their equivalents
* Hands on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management and delivery
* Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
* You will have 6 + years’ experience in the industry and have an aspiration to start a new and exciting chapter in your career
