Position: Machine Shop Manager
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £55,000 per annum, based on a 45-hour working week.
Machine Shop Manager required for a well-established manufacturer based in Waterlooville. The successful Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manual & CNC machinists.
Machine Shop Manager Job Overview
* Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists
* Overseeing quality controls of parts
* Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming
* Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials
* Producing progress reports on jobs
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Machine Shop Manager Job Requirements
* Proven background within production management
* Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating
* Experience with CAD/ CAM software is desirable
* Understanding of quality assurance processes
* Good planning & scheduling skills

* Salary: £55,000 per annum
* Working hours Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. 45 hour working week.
